On April 11 and 12, Rotterdam was all about the marathon — a place of perseverance, emotion and personal victories. Moments like these have long been accompanied by flowers as the ultimate gesture of pride and appreciation. That’s why, together with Kunsthal Rotterdam, we used this opportunity for a special flower promotion.
A flower with a message
During the pick-up of race bibs at the Marathon Sport Expo, we surprised runners and supporters with flowers. Each flower carried a personal message, such as:
“Nothing says ‘you rock’ like flowers do”
“Nothing says ‘good luck’ like flowers do”
“Nothing says ‘one step at a time’ like flowers do”
Visitors also received a discount code for the Flowers Forever exhibition at the Kunsthal — an exploration of the special role flowers play in our society.
The response?
Overwhelmingly positive!
Grateful runners, happy faces and an optimistic atmosphere. It was wonderful to see how something small can have such a big impact. Once again, it confirms: flowers are more than just a gesture — they enhance the moments that truly matter.
